A Last Stand for Lelu- Langley screening and PIPE UP General Meeting

The PIPE UP Network is hosting a screening of "A Last Stand for Lelu" created by Beyond Boarding and Vevo Productions.

A great injustice is being done on Lelu Island near Prince Rupert, B.C., the sacred and traditional territory of the Lax Kw'alaams people for over 10,000 years. The B.C. provincial government is trying to green light the construction of a massive LNG terminal on the island – Pacific Northwest LNG, backed by Malaysian energy giant Petronas, without consent.

This event is FREE but we will accept any donations for the Lax Kw'alaams- the keepers of Lelu Island.

We will have a guest speaker to start off the evening, and there will be an open discussion after the film, followed by a PIPE UP Network General meeting
